I was worried a large mug would feel clunky in my hands, but the clay-porcelain blend keeps it surprisingly balanced even when it's full. The unglazed matte surface has this subtle texture that makes morning tea feel a bit more intentional.

The matte finish feels almost like unglazed stoneware, and it stays cool enough to hold even right after pouring. It's heavier in the hand than my old thin cups, which I actually like.

Didn't expect the porcelain-clay mix to feel this substantial in hand, but it does, and the black matte doesn't show tea stains like my old glazed cups did. Big enough for a full morning pour too.
