Swapped my old tin for this one and the tea actually tastes fresher after a couple weeks. The ceramic walls keep light out, which my glass jar never did. Lid fits snug enough that I don't worry about air getting in.

The airtight seal is doing exactly what it should—my jasmine pearls have stayed fragrant and fresh for over three weeks now, which never happened with my old tin. Plus, the ceramic body looks lovely sitting right on my counter where I can grab it every morning.

I was worried about my loose leaf going stale, but the airtight seal on this canister has kept it fresh for over a month now. The ceramic is nice and heavy too, so it feels solid on my shelf every time I scoop out a spoonful.
