The matte finish feels almost like unglazed stone in the hand, and it doesn't get slick when my fingers are wet. It's smaller than my old mug but that's exactly why the tea stays hot to the last sip.

I was worried a small cup wouldn't hold enough tea, but this one is perfect for my afternoon cup. The porcelain and clay mix gives it a nice weight without feeling heavy, and it keeps my tea warm longer than my old glass cup did.

The matte finish feels so good to hold, nothing like the glossy mugs I've had before. It's small enough for a proper cup of tea but still holds a decent amount.
