I was worried my loose green tea would go stale, but the airtight seal on this canister really does the job — three weeks in and it still smells fresh when I pop the lid. The ceramic keeps light out too, which is exactly why I switched from the tin I used before.

The ceramic body feels substantial and well-made, and the airtight seal has kept my loose leaf tea noticeably fresher than the old tin I used before. I love that it looks elegant enough to leave out on the counter.

The airtight lid snaps shut with a satisfying pop, and my morning Darjeeling has stayed fragrant for over a month now. The ceramic feels sturdy and the finish is smooth enough to keep on my counter without cluttering it up.
