Kukicha lösbladste

The toasted, nutty flavor is so smooth I don't even need to add anything to it. I love that it's made with stems and twigs too, since that means way less caffeine than my usual green tea.

I switched to this twig tea for my evening cup since the stems have way less caffeine than regular green tea leaves, and I actually sleep better now. The flavor is nutty and mellow, nothing bitter even when I forget the steeping time.

I drink this in the evenings since the stems keep the caffeine low, and it doesn't keep me up like regular green tea does. The twig pieces are a bit stemmy to scoop, but the brew comes out smooth and light.
