Olive Leaf and Mint Loose Leaf Tea

I've been drinking a cup every evening and the mint cuts through the olive leaf nicely, so it doesn't taste medicinal at all. Steeping it for about four minutes gives a smooth cup that's become my wind-down ritual.

I was skeptical about olive leaf tea doing anything for my blood pressure, but after a few weeks of drinking two cups daily, my readings have actually dropped a few points. The mint keeps it from tasting too earthy, and the loose leaves brew up a nice golden color.

The dried leaves smell wonderfully fresh, like a garden after rain, and the brew is smooth enough to sip black. I've been drinking a cup each evening after dinner and it's become a calming little ritual that I actually look forward to.
