Matcha-skål blå

The medium size is just right for whisking a single serving without splashing. Being handmade in Japan really shows in the weight and the way it sits in my hands. My matcha finally tastes like the tea house version.

The hand-thrown glaze has this subtle unevenness that makes each bowl feel like its own little piece of pottery. Whisking a morning bowl in it is genuinely calming, and the weight sits nicely in my palm without tipping.

The medium size is just right for a full bowl of matcha without feeling oversized in my hands. You can tell it's handmade in Japan — the weight and shape aren't perfectly uniform, which I actually like. Whisking in it feels natural and the blue glaze looks even better in person.
